Switchers Kate Thompson Books
I have to give it a three...I suspect I give it a three because I may not be the demographic the book is geared towards. I suspect it was more of a young adult/ Jr. High type read. So I'm a little leery of reviewing it. I found the actual switcher parts to be brilliantly written. I wanted more of that. The story that it became about halfway through was just a bit over the top....I still enjoyed it but the story, other than the switching, was just not for me. The descriptions of when Tess was a rat, or a bird, or other animal was actually quite brilliant writing. The civilization saving action was just too over the top for me.
Like I say though, if I had read this in 8th or 9th grade, I probably would have given it 4.5 stars.

Switchers Kate Thompson Books Reviews
Just as good as I remember from years ago. Nice read.
Love these books!
Good Read.
i read these when i was just getting into reading. it really helped me get into this genre and was very entertaining. i will buy these books for my 9 and 13 year old neices who are trying to get in to reading.
Bought the book for my grandson he was very pleased
The idea behind the book is oddly disturbing....that all children can change into other creatures and that missing kids might just have decided to stay in the form of another creature...or have been another creature at 15 and been trapped in that from. Other then that the adventures of the characters were light hearted fun.
I read the first book, Switchers, many years ago and remembered how much I truly loved it. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole trilogy. The first two books are definitely the best. The third volume seemed a bit rushed, although not at all lacking in detail. I would recommend the trilogy as a whole, to get the complete story experience, but if you just wanted to read the first 2 books, you would definitely be satisfied as well.
I have to give it a three...
